Inorganic Chemistry(无机化学)

This course starts from atomic theory and the discovery of the structure of an atom, as well as key observations that could only be explained by the development of quantum theory, including the Schrödinger equation, wavefunctions, orbitals, quantum numbers and radial distribution functions. The formation of molecules is explored through both molecular orbital and valence bond theories. The structure of molecules is predicted using the Lewis model, and valence shell electron pair repulsion theory. periodicity, s,p-block chemistry and coordination chemistry of d-block transition metals are also investigated. The relationships between gas temperature, pressure, amount, and volume are investigated by a theoretical model. The chemistry of acid-base reactions and equilibria are also investigated.
