课程内容主要包括认识动物营养及饲料基础知识、水的营养与合理供应、蛋白质营养与蛋白质饲料应用、碳水化合物应用与能量供应、脂肪营养与合理供给、矿物质、维生素营养与缺乏症预防、饲料添加剂应用、饲料配方设计等八个模块，共48个学时。本课程是畜禽生产技术专业的专业基础课，学习对象是国内外畜禽生产技术专业各年级学生及社会考证人员。教学使用教材是科学出版社出版，广西“十四五”规划教材，李华慧主编《动物营养与饲料加工》。 The course content mainly includes eight modules: Understanding animal nutrition and feed basic knowledge, Protein nutrition and protein feed application, Carbohydrate application and energy supply, Fat nutrition and reasonable supply, Minerals, vitamin nutrition and deficiency prevention, Water nutrition and reasonable supply, Feed additive application, Feed formula design, for a total of 48 classes.
